Gates and doors
Batemans manufacture galvanised steel gates and doors suitable for a wide range of different environments. Our Ashcombe, Century or half-meshed gates are excellent for field or general use. The cattleyard, heavy stockyard and sheeted doors are suitable for yards, handling areas and cattle buildings. These can also be made to measure to suit your application. Standard gates are 1145mm high and have 19mm hinge eyes, except for the heavy stockyard and sheeted gates, which are 1270mm high and come with 25mm hinge eyes.

Heavy stockyard gate
A heavy-duty gate designed for internal penning and yards. It is 1270mm high and has 25mm hinge eyes and welded infill tubes.
A galvanised, sheeted box-section gate to suit the outside of any agricultural building. Standard height is 1270mm, but we manufacture all lengths and heights. Just ring for a price.
Posts and fittings
We manufacture posts in a variety of sizes to complement our gate range. Customers can choose either standard hang or slam posts. Additional hinges can be fitted or extra holes drilled. We supply the fittings to hang the gate and a range of systems for connecting the gates together, from drop-over frames to hook-and-chain fasteners.
